I made rugelach for Food Blogger Cookie Swap 2013. The cream cheese dough produces a cookie that’s not as sweet as many other holiday treats. Not to worry, I added preserves, pecans and chocolate chips so you won’t feel deprived one bit!
Today is the day all the participants in the 2012 Great Food Blogger Cookie Swap post about their cookies. My recipe, this year, is Shortbread with white chocolate , pistachios and dried cranberries. The shortbread is delicious on it’s own, but I decided to make it a little more festive with the red, green and white toppings — and boy, the house smells great while it’s baking.
My cookie swap entry – Gingerbread Biscotti. I kicked it up a notch by topping the cookies with lemon icing and a sprinkle of crystalized ginger.
