Yesterday, I posted about my favorite chili recipes. Today I’m all about appetizers for the big game. These will help make your Super Bowl spread a winner, even if your team isn’t.
I like to offer 4 or 5 appetizers, if I’m entertaining a crowd. Be sure to include some healthy and vegetarian options to keep everyone happy. Here’s are some of my favorites:
Mexican Dip – My favorite appetizer for big sporting events. It’s flavorful and filling, the recipe makes a lot, and guys LOVE it!! I serve it with Tostito’s scoops and extra salsa on the side.
Pizza Bread – a great choice if kids will be at the party. (Grown up kids too!)
Artichoke Dip – a perennial favorite – add crabmeat to dress it up a bit.
Red Pepper Hummus– serve it with pita and veggies for a healthy choice
Olive Bites – little cheesy bites with an olive surprise inside.
Fruit with Yogurt Dip – a healthy alternative to all the dips and chips.
